Our sectors of activity

Livestock and arable farming, energy production from renewable sources and viticulture: these are Genagricola's core business.

VITICULTURE

900 ha planted with vines in some of the most important winemaking regions in Italy (790) and Romania (109), from Friuli to Piedmont, Veneto, Lazio and Emilia Romagna and the province of Arad in Romania.

ARABLE CROPS

Almost 13,000 ha of land growing the most diverse of crops... wheat, maize, rice, beet, soya, oil-seed rape, sunflower and many more besides. The crops are chosen based on the particular characteristics of the land and enhance local skills and traditions.

LIVESTOCK FARMING

Buffaloes (1200), dairy cows (600) and pigs (9000) which we raise on some of our farms.

RENEWABLE ENERGIES

We exploit some of the agricultural waste products to produce biogas to generate electricity.
